Tier/subscription changes:

A few days ago, I noticed my game being shared on pirate sites; it was there as soon as it was released for tier two ($5.00) subscribers. I understand, and know well, that developers can't stop their game from getting pirated. But I need to do something about it.

There are a few things to consider here; I release new content every month, and past episodes become free-donation based. Past episodes become free for anyone who wants to try the game on PC, Linux, MAC, or Android devices. I'm not hiding my game behind a paywall, and I'm offering a link to download the demo from a safe site (Itch.io).

The free demo has been updated every month. There is no need to get the game from any shady site.

I spend long hours working on my game, from building up scenes from scratch to coding features. I work long hours even on weekends, even late at night, when almost everyone else is sleeping. I'm investing most of the money I make; I use it to buy new assets and buy new stuff to add to my game.

I do believe it is fair to get something out of long hours of work. Enthusiast/indie adult game developers are not getting big bucks out of their games; the market is saturated, and we are lucky if we can get enough to pay one or two bills with the money we make from our projects. I'm not making things up; this is real talk, this is honest talk.

Well, now that my reasons were explained... I'm making changes to my subscription tiers to optimize the chances of getting more support for my game. I'm pushing back release time one week:

Tiers four ($15.00) and five ($50.00) will be getting the game the first day of every month.

Tier three ($10.00) will be getting access to the game one week after that.

Tier two ($5.00) will get access to the game in the third week of the month.

Tier one ($1.00) will be getting access to a new episode five weeks after the initial release.

I will be implementing those changes across all the publishing platforms I use.

Effective immediately on tier one ($1.00) and two ($5.00), the next update will follow the new release schedule for all tiers.

Like you can see, I'm adding one week to my chances to get support for my efforts.
